Thomson buys into Corinthian TV

Article Abstract:

The French technology group ThomsonEs acquisition of a majority stake in Corinthian Television Facilities comes amid unconfirmed reports of its purchase of Moving Picture Company for [pounds sterling]40 million. Corinthian will become part of ThomsonEs Technicolor Network services and will support the delivery of full chain of service from production to postproduction to playout in the UK. Corinthian will be stronger placed to compete with companies like Ascent as it sets out into Europe.

Pinewood eyes up Whitfield St

TV Set merges P3 with Arena Digital

Article Abstract:

The corporate post production outfit P3 was taken over by The Television Set, a post production group and the staff and equipment of P3 were moved to the group's unit, Arena Digital. This move gives Television Set an entry in to the corporate post production segment.
