Unions urge Trust to extend pay study

Article Abstract:

Workers unions such as the National Union of Journalists is urging the BBC Trust to include pay levels for the company's top executives in its study of BBC on-screen talent costs. The pay increase for BBC executives, in light of the company's job cuts, are claimed by unions to be "unjustified." Data on the BBC's executive salaries are presented.
