University Challenge

Article Abstract:

The focus of the 1997 Royal Television Society (RTS) Cambridge Convention is the future use of television by consumers. The opening speech will be from the Secretary of State for Broadcasting and other speakers at the convention include top name industry executives. Topics covered will range from technological advances to the possible end of regulation. The impact the meeting has on the industry should not be underestimated, although not all influential industry figures attend due to work commitments.
