We can't 'Just do it' alone! An analysis of Nike's (potential) contributions to anti-racism in soccer

Article Abstract:

The Nike 'Stand Up Speak Up' campaign is discussed considering how effective it is in combating racism prevalent in soccer culture. It is felt that Nike has huge potential to contribute more to progressive anti-racist initiatives in soccer culture and it plays a central role in representing sports culture and are willing to take risks. --

'Bound in by history': The Winter of Discontent in British politics, 1979-2004

The article identifies various events in British political history since 1979. The period before 1979 was one of economic backwardness, disorder and industrial chaos and thus was labeled as the 'Winter of Discontent' in British political history.
