A heart two sizes too small: Avoiding Grinch leadership

Article Abstract:

The toxic leaders or leaders with quality of dishonesty, inconsideration and anger who do not inspire people to follow, can be compared to the Grinch cartoon character, and are isolated and cut off from the rest. As in the Grinch cartoon character, a change in the heart and behavior is required in leaders who can inspire the followers, have qualities of integrity in order to retain people and ultimately reduce cost.

Structuring the resume is very important for getting any job in a large corporation that is hiring military retirees. Military retirees should do their homework by learning about the companies for which they want to work and should also think about their own experiences and how they match up with the business.

Getting along with people

Article Abstract:

The differences faced by the military retirees as they start second careers working in large corporations and the interpersonal skills, are discussed. Some of the hints on how to get along with the cultural norms of the modern business world are presented.
