KVH Industries Inc is highly regarded for developing and manufacturing a range of next-generation navigation and mobile communications systems for military and commercial purposes. In Jun 1999, the defense contractor received the US Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command Outstanding Partner Award for its contributions in communications and navigation technologies. KVH, based in Middletown, RI, reported $20.6 million in sales in 1998.
