Abizaid warns of Saudi Arabia dangers

Article Abstract:

The US military commander in Iraq feels that a broader strategic problem is containing Islamic extremism in Saudi Arabia and Pakistan even though the US-led campaign in Iraq and Afghanistan is of immediate concern. The fight against religious extremism cannot be fought with tanks and guns but by diplomatic, political and social help to the concerned countries.

USA ponders Iraqi role in terror network

Article Abstract:

There is speculation that Iraq was involved in the 2001 World Trade Center disaster, and some US officials are calling for an attack on that country. However, despite indications that Iraq was involved in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, there seems little direct evidence to link it to the 2001 attack.
