Airbus organises for A400M systems

Article Abstract:

EADS Defense Electronics is organizing the selection and development of the on-board and ground-based military systems equipment package for the Airbus Military A400M transport aircraft. The aircraft component management team (ACMT) Military Systems organization focuses on the defensive aids subsystem (DASS), the military mission management system (M-MMS), the military test facilities and the pre-flight message support environment (PFMSE) for DASS.

Germany Army looks to EADS for TRML-2D improvement project

Article Abstract:

EADS Defence Electronics and EADS Defence & Communication Systems (Ulm, Germany) upgraded three ex-German Air Force (Luftwaffe) truck-mounted TRML-2D radar systems for the German Army. This upgradation helps in strengthening the air surveillance and command-and-control capabilities of the army's HFlaFuSys mobile, networked low-level air defence system.

Pilatus Aircraft (Stans, Switzerland) is developing a pre-production series of eight PC-21 advanced turboprop trainer aircraft at its facility at Stans-Buochs Airport. Pilatus aims at the market in Singapore, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the UK with further sales potential to be followed by many more opportunities over the next few years.
