Transformational training system

Article Abstract:

A new system designated the intelligence and electronic warfare tactical proficiency trainer (IEWTPT), which delivers realistic feeds of intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) data from signal, human, communications, infrared, and other battlefield sensors into the hands of military intelligence operators and analysts in the US Army are presented. A description of the IEWTPT is provided and its relevance from the perspective of US Marine Corps is discussed.

The Marine Corps Warfighting laboratory provides a proven technology to enhance Marine Corps Training

Article Abstract:

The Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory (MCWL) and the Training and Education Command (TECom) are working together to provide a range of instrumentation system capability for data collection and analysis of the Marine Corps. The MCWL's integrated global positioning system (GPS) radio system (IGRS) is used to meet the common ground truth and high-quality feedback goals of the joint national training capability (JNTC).

1st Marine Division (MarDIV) has lineup of units undergoing developed basic urban skills training (BUST) with project metropolis (PROMET) in preparation for the OIF 1 at Matilda. The various ways through which Matilda village provides a unique training opportunity are presented.
