Plan B for Iraq: Consider all options

Article Abstract:

Plan B is an orderly withdrawal of military forces from Iraq only in case of failure of the Iraqi military, especially the police to overcome their sectarian rivalries and rally to their government's defense by late 2007. Even after the withdrawal from the rest of Iraq, the US military must be ready and willing to intervene with air power to prolong the subsequent civil war, ensuring that neither Sunni Arabs nor Shiite Arabs gain the upper hand.
