Answering the call

Article Abstract:

The deteriorating condition of the Haiti, West Indies has led to the introduction of the Chilean force to a United Nations-sanctioned Multinational International Force alongside troops from Canada, France and the United States. Details of the peacekeeping operations carried on in Haiti by the Chilean force are discussed.

Ready, willing and able: Denmark's unique, effective defense posture

Article Abstract:

Denmark has more than 1,100 military personnel deployed on operations in 14 countries around the world, out of the total active-duty strength of 20,550 as of August 2004. The defense force of Denmark is the most modern and capable force in Europe due to Denmark's aggressive and effective defense policies.

Defending the Generals: Argument fails to make case objectively and unemotionally

Article Abstract:

The article discusses on Lt. Col. Paul Yingling - "A failure in leadership" and finds that the author has failed to look at the issues objectively but rather emotionally and unprofessionally, thereby being unable to lead to a dialogue for a more productive policy for improving military effectiveness.
