The siege of raider base

Article Abstract:

A company team on the western outskirts of Baghdad held a former Iraqi police station against an onslaught in April 2004. The 1st Cavalry's 2nd Brigade were staying at the Raider Base, which was a former police station with a two-story main building, and it was used as a fulcrum point to maintain a base of fire and leverage pressure against the enemy from it until they broke.

Installations in support of the Army at war

Article Abstract:

Transformation of the Army installations is important for the Army so as improve the quality of life and well being of the soldiers and their family members. Transformation is going to help the soldiers to remain dedicated to the responsibilities in the on going war on terrorism.
