Army materiel command: Translating requirements into capabilities

Article Abstract:

General Benjamin S. Griffin, commanding general of Army Materiel Command (AMC) stated that Army troops in Iraq operate trucks and helicopters at six to 10 times the rates anticipated when those items entered service. AMC has also played a vital role in getting new body armor to troops and civilian employees serving in combat zones worldwide.
