BIFF selected

Article Abstract:

The multi-national Combat Identification Working Group (CIA) has recommended an adoption of the Question & Answer Ka-band (33-40 GHz) technology as the best and cost effective solution for Battlefield Identification Friend or Foe (BIFF). CIA was created by France and Germany with the UK and US to evaluate several different solutions for BIFF systems and suggest the prime approach in view of a potential standardized decision. The BIFF programme is designed to equip the AFVs in service with the four major NATO armies with a common IFF system or fully interoperable.

Article Abstract:

Verseidag-Indutex manufactures ULTRAX products for soft and hard ballistics fabrics used in security applications. The company is certified for all production and checking stages from ISO 9001 and Iko-Audit 14001. The ballistics level of the textiles are ensure through the use of hydrophobic finishing of the fabrics with fluorocarbon resins. Its products range from vests, helmets to protective shields. The company is also the main supplier for DaimlerChrysler and BMW for all shooting classes.
