Barco's defence focus is 'life critical'

Barco, Kortrijk, Flanders, provides visualization and display solutions for professional markets, including defence and security along with the design and development of solutions for large-screen visualization, display solutions for life-critical applications and systems for visual inspection. Barco is developing a dual-market approach, such as high-end products that can be sold for premium prices and mid-end products to defend its market position against lower-cost competition.

Saab Systems look to 9LV Mk 3E operator console for enhanced combat information

Article Abstract:

Saab Systems would launch a new multifunction operator console for its 9LV Mk 3E naval combatant management system at IMDEX Asia naval exhibition, which would be held from 17-20 May 2005 in Singapore. The new model features a single, wide-screen, 30 in high-resolution color display with good side angle view performance and as it is smaller in size, three of them can be installed in the same place.
