Blood borders

Article Abstract:

The most arbitrary and distorted borders in the world are in Africa and the Middle East, where the bloodshed is perennial. Middle East has far more problems than dysfunctional borders alone from cultural stagnation through scandalous inequality to deadly religious extremism, however the greatest taboo in striving to understand the region's comprehensive failure is not Islam but the awful-but-sacrosanct international boundaries worshipped by diplomats.

Unconventional thinking

Article Abstract:

The changing of the global situation in an era of instability raises a very important question as to why fighting an asymmetric situation with conventional forces would even be considered since such forces have repeatedly proved to be inappropriate for asymmetric warfare. Unconventional forces can select appropriate targets and strike them seizing back the initiative and the enemy would never know when or where the next strike would be.
