Middle east patrols continue at reduced intensity

Article Abstract:

The US-led naval operations in the Middle East are concentrating on maritime interception operations (MIO) in order to support the 'global war on terrorism' and occupation in Iraq. Maritime surveillance, one of the key choke points in the region continues, with two combined task forces (CTFs) operating in the Strait of Hormuz (CTH-151) and around the Horn of Africa (CTF-150).

Taiwan Coast Guard plans air wing
