Boeing's X-32A goes supersonic, refuels aloft, simulates "traps."(concept aircraft)

Boeing's X-32A concept aircraft proved its ability to reach supersonic speeds during a Dec 2000 test flight. The plane also successfully refueled in flight and simulated a carrier landing.
