Challenges of military experimentation

Article Abstract:

The Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory (MCWL) is focusing on Sea Vikeng, a series of experiments meant to determine whether a forward deployed Marine air-ground task force (MAGTF) could conduct immediate joint forcible entry operations. Thus, the study intends to develop and assess selected additional capabilities that a forward deployed, seabased MAGTF needs to conduct distributed operations from the seabase.

Article Abstract:

The third-generation warfare (3GW) executed by the U.S. Marine Corps is becoming inadequate in the face of irregular warfare adopted by adversaries. By adopting the enhanced doctrine, structure, training and equipment of a fourth-generation warfare (4GW), the Marine Corps should be able to dominate future wars.

Marine corps intelligence

Article Abstract:

The Marine Corps Intelligence Activity (MCIA) is working towards supplying cultural intelligence products that determines the foundations for developing good relationships with coalition partners and allied nations. The Marine Corp Intelligence helps to use cultural information to accomplish the mission.
