News call: Operations in Iraq

Article Abstract:

The violence in Iraq continues, the U.S. Army, the coalition forces, the Iraqi police and Iraqi armed forces continue to make progress with the terrorist encounters taking place in the month of June 2005. Operations by coalition and Iraqi forces have taken the fight to the enemy and reduced the number of attacks on friendly forces and on 22 June 2005 an operation called Operation Spear rooted out terrorist strongholds, killing 47 and detaining one for questioning.

Why public affairs is not information operations

Article Abstract:

Pundits and policy makers of America feel that the American Army and its coalition allies, have won the war on the ground in Iraq and Afghanistan but the so called information operations war is going to be lost. The information operations war is interpreted as a war of international news coverage of the true things happening in the battle for the common public.

Fixing Iraqi combat effectiveness

Article Abstract:

Iraqi combat could be tackled effectively by a coordinated and determined integration to fulfill the social and economic expectations, and needs of the populace and security to enforce peace. Details on how the Army would bring security and peace in Iraq is discussed.
