Article Abstract:
Maj Gen Frantisek Hrabal, Commander of the Ground Forces of the Army of the Czech Republic, admits that peacekeeping operations are increasingly becoming a significant part of the Army's functions. Hrabal says that this situation can be verified from the operational doctrine of the Army. He adds that the 4th Rapid Deployment Brigade is being given priority by the Army and has been assigned to UK's 1st Armored Division. Hrabal believes that no major operation can be done successfully through air forces alone, without the need for ground forces.
