DASA subsidiary Ewation cooperates with Aouth African defence electroniks company GST

Article Abstract:

Germany-based Ewation GmbH, a new subsidiary of DaimlerChrysler Aerospace AG, has partnered with South Africa-based Grintek System Technologies, a division of Grintek Group Ltd, to develop and market their eletronic warfare systems under the new trademark Monitoring, Reconaissance, Countermeasures (MRCM) Products. The partnership has created the world's largest supplier of a full-range of state-of-the-art signal intelligence systems.

Racal wins further communications orders in Asia and Europe

Article Abstract:

Racal Defense Electronics has won a contract to supply its Cougar radio system to security forces in two Asian countries. The Cougar radio is as small as an audio cassette case and operates in the 380 MHz to 430 MHz band. The company also been awarded a contract to supply its PRM 4720B multi-role hand-held tactical radios to the Hellenic Army. The contract is worth 11 million pounds sterling.

GDI Simulation delivers new generation system

Article Abstract:

GDI Simulation has delivered to Giat Industries SA the first two sets of 41+66 STC LECLERC Tactical Engagement Simulators. The simulator is designed to provide tactical training to the crew of the GIAT Industries- made LECLERC main battle tank, which is being used by the French Army. It features a technology that is suited to firing at stationary and moving targets while on the move.
