DASA to apply EW suite

Article Abstract:

DASA Corp will supply a total of 427 electronic warfare (EW) systems to the armed forces of France and Germany for use aboard Tiger helicopters. The EW suites were developed via a cooperative agreement between DASA's LFK unit and the Detexis unit of Thompson-CSF. DASA's EW system is composed of a radar warning receiver, a laser sensor capable of detecting threats from laser-based weaponry, a missile-launch detector and an evaluation system that analyzes sensor data and provides acoustical and optical threat warnings to the crew.

El-Op wins multi-million dollar contract

Article Abstract:

El-Op Electro-Optics Industries Ltd, the leading electro-optics supplier in Israel, has been chosen to supply airborne reconnaissance systems to the Turkish Air Force. The high altitude, high-resolution systems are expected to be installed aboard the country's RF-4E reconnaissance aircraft. El-Op's reconnaissance systems feature real-time data links, installation kits and Electro-Optic Infra-Red Long-Range Oblique Photography cameras.
