Danish Army acquisitions accelerate

Article Abstract:

The Danish Army Material Command (HMK) will announce the winner of a competition to supply 85 armored patrol vehicles for the Danish Army in November 2005. BAE Systems Land Systems OMC's (South Africa) RG-32M, Panhard's (France) VBL, Mowag's (Switzerland) Eagle IV and Textron Systems Cadillac Gage's (US) ASV armored security vehicle are some of the main contenders for the DKK425 million (USD69 million) programme.

U.K. set to modify and re-role Chinook HC.3s
