Bohemia, NY-based, independent, third-party engineering and testing service Dayton T. Brown Inc has evolved since its inception in 1950 to a firm whose existing management system can accommodate more than 2,000 programs per year. Its projects range from brief tests to complex support of multiple-year, engineering R and D programs. Its Engineering and Testing Division is highly respected by government agencies and industry. The company's work for the Navy, Army and Air Force has proven to be invaluable.

Article Abstract:

The Army Medical Department has a long history of support for soldiers on the battlefield, and evacuation and rapid care of battlefield casualties have improved immensely in the last few years. The Medical Department has brought new technologies and skills to the battlefield in its fight against trauma and disease such as the introduction on the battlefield of penicillin that revolutionized military wound care.

The 377th Theater Support Command provided the troop support infrastructure necessary for the Iraq invasion, supplying food, water, power, water, transportation, police and fire services, medical services, and specialists in personnel, finance, and air and seaport operations.
