Operations in Iraq

Article Abstract:

Several numbers of Iraqi military and police are being training, equipped and fielded to confront terrorist trying to destabilize the new Iraqi government. The Multinational Security Transition Command Iraq estimated that about 225,000 Iraqi soldiers and police would provide security for Iraq's nationwide election.

New Mexico Guard soldiers: handing down a proud heritage

Article Abstract:

The participation of the National Guard's 200th Coast Artillery Regiment in training exercise Roving Sands is described. In an exercise, which involved defending against Apache helicopters, the regiment performed admirably.
