Distributed operations: What's not to like

Article Abstract:

The Marine Corps' distributed operations (DO) experimentation and implementation program has resulted in considerable unjustified confusion. The DO program should focus on providing responsibility to excellently trained and properly equipped small units for conduct wide-ranging military operations across the tactical warfare spectrum, thus representing a significant commitment.

Servant leadership - a vision for inspiring the best from our Marines

Article Abstract:

The vision of the servant leadership model for the 21st century battlefield is presented. The impact and relevance of the servant leadership model shows that only the leader who has proven his value as a trusted steward of the Marines will inspire them to perfect their combat skills and unit capabilities in battlefields.

Digital Close Air Support: forging the concept into a battlefield capability

Article Abstract:

The article examines the Digital Close Air Support (CAS) as a broad operational capability and emphasizes on its development into a well-defined and inclusive network. The CAS could hence be used as a legitimate combat capability.
