DoD prepares for BRAC

Article Abstract:

The U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) will use base realignments and closures (BRAC) to remove unnecessary infrastructure to increase military capability and effectiveness. The DoD requested commanders of all installations in the United States and its territories to gather information in addition to additional data calls if necessary and the list of recommendations would be submitted to the independent BRAC commission by 16 May 2005.

Air defense soldiers: Continuing the warrior legacy

Article Abstract:

The Air Defense Artillery (ADA) soldiers are versatile forces that can serve as force multipliers to maneuver units and are trained as warriors, serving as air and missile defense troops capable of shifting gears to support other maneuver units wherever needed. The ADA soldiers in various parts of the world are doing their part to ensure security while possessing the warrior spirit and facing challenges all around the globe.

Space and Missile Defense Command/ Army Strategic Command: the right answers to the warfighter's questions

Article Abstract:

Space and Missile Defense Command (SMDC)/Army Strategic Command (ARSTRAT) provides space-based products and services to warfighters globally. The designation of SMDC/ARSTRAT as the Army service component command (ASCC) brings on new and untested areas of roles and responsibilities to the command.
