Eliminating NMCI deployables: Doing more within existing budgets

Article Abstract:

The existing methodologies of the implementation of the contracted Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) and deployment of computers, through noncost-effective decisions, are examined and ways of accomplishing more within existing budgets are recommended. Elimination of NMCI deployable laptop contract line item numbers (CLINs) would result in cost savings, useful in maintaining suites of non-NMCI tactical computers and for management overheads or other procurement needs.

Twenty-eight articles: Fundamentals of company-level counterinsurgency

Article Abstract:

There are no answers to how counterinsurgency actually happens, and countering the very adaptive insurgents requires skills to win the support of the local people. Twenty-eight articles or tactical fundamental principles, which are observations from collective experience, can be applied to link theory with the known techniques and procedures, like knowledge of the area, diagnosis of the problem and building trusted networks to help in counterinsurgency.
