Stealth victory

Article Abstract:

In January 12,2004, a media roundtable conference for the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) Arabic discussed the issues of detainees and the recently issued reconciliation policy. Majority of the population said that they would feel less safe if the Coalition Forces left immediately and yet the Iraqis did not want them to be there for too long.

Leveraging the media

Article Abstract:

The study discusses the decision to embrace the embedded media program (EMP) and proposes some ideas for the future. EMP is a technology used by the media to report instantaneously from distant locations, which along with the rise of non-American news agencies would overpower military public relations efforts.
