Col.. Valeri Saar, Chief of Staff of the Estonian Air Force, states Integration ass the cornerstone of the Estonian Air Force and emphasizes the importance of Estonian forces being interoperable with the NATO forces. The Estonian Defense Forces Development Plan envisages the establishment of a national air surveillance system and its integration into NATO Integrated Air Defense System (NATINADS).
