Eusatory 2000 technology on show

Article Abstract:

The Eusatory 2000 exhibition was marked with an ever increasing number of exhibitors as well as attendees, a trend that is seen as a sign of increased defense spending in the future as existing systems become obsolete. Most of the innovations were focused on vehicles and vehicle- mounted systems as the importance of mobile systems becomes apparent in modern battlefield conditions. Eusatory 2000 showed that defense manufacturers are more than ready to fulfill these future requirements.

Russian improvement for export

Article Abstract:

Russian defense industry exports featured at a number of major shows have changed substantially since the demise of the USSR in 1990. Their systems, produced by such companies as Rosvooruzhenie, KBP and Defense Systems, are now very difficult to differentiate from their western counterparts. The marketing push for Russian arms has also shifted significantly to include non-traditional clients.
