The new Air Force fighter debate

Article Abstract:

The F/A-22 and F-35 are vital for the United States Air Force, but the number, types and mix are all in dire need of revamping. The US Air Force will have to equip their aircrafts with latest radars and other equipments in order to enhance its combat capability.

Article Abstract:

Gordon R. England, the prospective deputy secretary of defense has launched a study at further cutting the future size of the US military's flight fleet and to make deep cuts in the already truncated F/A-22 and F-35 programs to reduce defense spending. The study is commissioned to facilitate greater optimization of tactical growth and its aim would be to identify capabilities and efficiencies resulting from rationalizing Air Force, Navy, Marine, National Guard and Reserve TACAIR.
