Getting a slice of the cake: JSF and partner industrial participation

Article Abstract:

The Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) F-35 LIGHTNING II is the biggest multinational fighter programme, with eight partner countries and it is also the first stealth aircraft to be available for export to the US friends and allies and the first true network-centric fighter. The JSF partner-countries will sign the memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the Production, Sustainment and Follow-on Development (PSFD) phase of the programme in December 2006. An overview of the individual courtiers and their actual industrial participation is presented.
