Article Abstract:

The backdrop of early planning of Operation Iraqi Freedom I is utilized to describe the traits that are required by a Marine air command and control system planner in the present day's joint environment. The Joint Publication 0-2, Unified Action Armed Forces (UNAAF), command relationships and battlespace and the joint operation planning and execution system (JOPES) are the two essentials that are needed in planning aviation command and control for any contingency.

What happened to Class IX in Iraq-revisited

Article Abstract:

Capt. Christopher E. Rabassi considered three key areas information, management systems, and transportation and distribution control during Operation Iraqi Freedom I (OIF I) through his article 'What Happened to Class IX in Iraq?' in 2003. The progress in these issues is reconsidered during the course of time concluding that these areas have improved dramatically.

The United States Marine Corps is employing a considerable amount of resources to maximize mobility, command and control capabilities. BLT 1/6 has developed a command and control platform that meets the infantry battalion's mobility, command and control requirements.
