Response to an Ally's critique of the US army

Article Abstract:

British Brigadier Nigel Aylwin Foster, a senior officer serving with coalition forces in Iraq has raised professional military hackles with a wide-ranging critique of the US Army's performance in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Aylwin-Foster describes a US Army imbued with an unparalleled sense of patriotism, duty, passion, commitment, and determination, but also weighed down by bureaucracy a stiflingly hierarchical outlook, a predisposition to offensive operations and a sense that duty required all issues to be confronted head-on.
