The Franco-Hellenic bilateral armament relationship has evolved to become an effective and fully open partnership. France as well as Greece is strongly supporting the growing role of the European Defense Agency (EDA) and they are continuously working for the reinforcement of their co-operation, at the government level as well as the industrial one and in a European context.

The bilateral status of Germany and Greece defense cooperation and the perspectives linked to it are based on manifold military contacts and close ties in defense technology matters, which are steadily cultivated by both sides. The scope and structure of the German-Greek cooperation have shown that a highly capable defense industry is established in Greece.
