Habibullah Qaderi-Minister for counter narcotics, Afghanistan

Article Abstract:

Habibullah Qaderi, Afghanistan's minister for counter-narcotics, who asserts that a political will exists to tackle his country's increasingly organised drug smugglers, identifies the need for more institution building to reduce corruption, improved intelligence and evidence gathering systems, and more commitment from the international community. He explains the need to tackle Afghanistan's drugs trade before it reaches the highly organised levels of countries such as Columbia.
