Halsey Ceremony highlights busy Navy League commissioning schedule

Article Abstract:

The ceremony for the commissioning of the US Navy's newest Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer, USS Halsey took place on 30 July 2005 at Pier J. Naval Air Station North Island, Coronado, California. A report of the ceremony, which was attended by more than 5,000 people, is provided.
