Your Army in the Pacific: defined by the quality of its people

Article Abstract:

The US Army Pacific (USARPAC) exists to fulfill its primary mission of providing trained and ready forces to the combatant commander, US Pacific Command (USPACOM). As a key member of the joint team in the Pacific, USARPAC must synchronize its support to the combatant commander with its Navy, Air Force and Marine partners and look for ways to strengthen joint exercises and training and improve dialogue, communication and relationships.

US Army south moves to Fort Sam Houston

Article Abstract:

The US Army South (USARSO) successfully completed all of its scheduled major exercises while relocating its headquarters from Fort Buchanan in Puerto Rico to Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, Texas. The challenge was that the move had to be transparent to the combatant commander, military group commanders and Title 10 soldiers in the theater, and to the international counterparts as well.
