All quiet on the Esatern front so Israel will revise IDF organization and doctrine

Article Abstract:

The Israel Defense Force (IDF), in its first phase of reorganization of the country's defense system and started the process of adopting a new doctrine for its operations. The proposed budget cuts could affect the workings of the IDF, since ninety percent of the reduced budget was earmarked for salaries or existing projects but reduced conventional threats has forced the IDF to rethink about the necessity of a large force.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) is continuously adapting its structure and doctrine to the regional changes that include terrorist threats against Israel. Israel is becoming greatly concerned with the progress in the Iranian nuclear program and ballistic missile capabilities.
