Article Abstract:

Integrated Electronics Industries VP A. Vafaei details the structure, products and plans of the Iranian government-owned defense company. He says that the company has about 5,000 personnel and five different subsidiaries, each of which have their own manufacturing plants. In 1999, the company had a turnover of about $220 million. He also says that the company plans to expand export activities from $5 million in 1999 to about $30 million in 2001.
