IT Committee looks to boost council presence on the Web

Article Abstract:

The Navy League's Information Technology (IT) for Council Initiatives Committee is trying its best at having all councils use the Internet and electronic methods to communicate with their market and membership. The IT committee hosted a presentation on 'How to Set Up a Council Website,' at the Navy League National Convention in the summer of 2005.

Puerto Vallarta rolls out welcome mat at Mexico, Caribbean regional meeting

Article Abstract:

The Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, Council played host to Navy Leaguers from Mexico and Caribbean from February 18-19, 2005, during the region's annual meeting. The program focused on the common idea that local Navy Leagues should continue guiding them in building productive relationships within the community.

Steering Committee members guide Navy League's strategies, priorities

Article Abstract:

The composition, functions and the areas of responsibilities of the Steering Committee of the US Navy League are described. The Committee, with shifting demographics, needs to concentrate on new marketing research to enable larger recruitment in the Navy League.
