Interview: General Martin Carreno Commander-in-Chief of the Colombian Army

Article Abstract:

Commander-in-Chief of the Colombian army, General Martin Carreno feels that the Colombian army had a very successful year 2003 and the year 2004 will be very crucial in its battle against the insurgents and the army will continue to be in the forefront in the war against drugs. When asked about the friction between the military establishment and the politicians, the Commander skirted the issue but hoped to be victorious against all odds.
