Interpol is in the process of restructuring, and Willy Deridder will be in change of Regional and National Police Services, Operational Police Support, and Specialized Crimes. Deridder discusses the restructuring, in light of the 9/11/01 terrorist disaster.

Article Abstract:

Business intelligence is less developed than military and state intelligence, however there are efforts by businesses to improve their information sources. It is recommended that any intelligence should be one-way, from companies to government.

Transnational crime and terrorism

Article Abstract:

Two conferences, taking place in Scotland, took up the topics of terrorism and transnational crime. Of particular concern, was the increasing involvement of terrorist groups with organized crime.
