The Wright brothers with their first flight on the Flyer created history while camping on Kill Devil Hill on 17 December 1903. Their failures and success in the journey of their 'flight' are described.

The Operation Iraqi Freedom redefined the planning and execution of strategic airpower. Strategic airpower was considered to be one of the most potent and controversial forms of modern airpower.
