Article Abstract:

China State Shipbuilding Corp of China has featured a 1,600-ton frigate design in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates in Mar 1999. The F16U stealth frigate , which 103 meters long and 10.8 meters wide, has a maximum speed of about 30 knots. Its defenses include two 37mm close air-defese guns, a 76mm OTO Melara gun, a Z9 anti-submarine helicopter, a 347G fire control radar, an air search radar, a surface search radar, two quadruple SSM launchers, a 32-cell SAM VLS and two chaff launchers.
