Some Canadian defense contractors are not well known but nonetheless growing globally. Pivotal Power of Nova Scotia manufactures rugged static pwer-conversion equipment. Wescam of Burlington, Ontario produces wireless communication systems and long-range surveillance equipment. Standard Aero of Winnepeg, Manitoba overhauls and repairs aircraft equipment.
