Marine Corps Engineer Center

Article Abstract:

The Marine Corps has trained its combat engineers at the Engineer School located at Camp Lejeune, NC, with some training taking place with the Army at Fort Leonard Wood, MO. A new Camp Lejeune facility, known as the Marine Corps Engineer Center, will now take responsibility for all Marine engineer training.

What good is the Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center?

The Mountain Warfare Training Center was established in 1951, and has devoted 50 years to preparing Marines and Navy personnel for cold weather and mountainous environments. Details of the center's goals and operation are discussed.
