Marine Corps family of tactical decision making simulations

Article Abstract:

Tactical decision-making simulation (TDS) technology and combat simulations from small unit level to company and battalion levels are readily available for incorporation into training programs or for individual use. The three-phased approach that is involved in the training methodology of a TDS conduct planning based on the operation order provided in the scenario, execute the plan in the simulation, and conduct an after-action review.

Technologies for Marine Corps ground training

Article Abstract:

The Program Manager, Training Systems (PM TraSys) Science & Technology (S&T) Division's main aim is to develop and then transition valued technologies to Marine Corps ground training systems. Augmented Cognition/enhanced human performance technology, instrumentation and situational awareness technology and tactical decision making simulation (TDS) technology are the new technologies developed by PM TraSys S&T Division to help Marines.

Transforming Marine Corps Science and Technology

Article Abstract:

The US Marine Corps are in an era that will not permit its Science & Technology (S and T) fiscal resources or nonoperational end strength to grow. Better selection distribution and empowerment of its limited S and T resources would be the key to transforming its technology-enabled capabilities in the future.
